About Dr. Rosalinda Rodriguez

Dr. Rodriguez is the current Director of Multicultural Curriculum at Tucson Unified School District #1 in Tucson, Arizona. She earned her doctorate from the University of Phoenix in 2022, with a dissertation titled "The Role of Emotional Intelligence Training in Educational Leadership: A Correlational Analysis," which explored how emotionally intelligent leaders positively impact campus culture. She is also a co-author of the books "Latina Radiance, Love Letters to the Soul," and "Latinx Radiance: Leadership Recipes for Success."

Her educational journey began when she immigrated from San Luis, Rio Colorado, Sonora, México, at the age of 21. Despite facing language barriers and personal challenges, she earned her Bachelor’s in Education in 2006, followed by a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction in 2008, and an Education Specialist degree in Leadership and Administration in 2014. With 24 years in public education and 8 years as an administrator, Dr. Rodriguez was recognized as the AZALAS Outstanding Administrator of the Year in 2021, received the ASA Outstanding Principal of the Year award in 2024, and was honored with the “De Todo Corazon” award for her compassionate service, from AZALAS in 2024. A dedicated advocate for her students, she embodies the belief that dreams are attainable—¡Sí Se Puede!
